Leaky little bugga

I changed all the fluid underneath the series 3 ... Being a caring owner and all, and how does it repay me with a big patch of gearbox oil

I filled it till it came out although I didn't clean the breather. It never leaked before is it just leaking becaus ethe pressure has built up ? Will it kept leaking?

How do I get to the breather underneath or through the top

And finally where is it 😊

It's not leaking, its marking it's territory

The gearbox is just behind the engine........................

Probably didn't have enough oil left in it to leak out until you filled it up

It will stop when there is no oil left

possible leaks are...

rear output seal, usually an easy fix
selector shafts, rarely fixed successfully
little breathers on top of the gearbox and transfer box (just little holes), can be stopped with slight modifications to fit extended breather tubes
