My Series 3 has had a 2.5 fitted, and there's a lot of oil coming from the rear of the engine. Doesn't leak whilst standing, but seems to be ****ing it out for a few minutes after the engine's been switched off after a run:

Is this a question of cleaning and unblocking the breather system, and is there anything obviously wrong in the pic above before I start work?

Thanks for any help!

Looks like it could be coming from the rearmost rocker cover stud, worth checking the nut on the top hasn't come loose, and that the little sealing washer under it is in good condition/

To clear this one up, this was a high pressure valve on the block, just next to the oil filter. I didn't fix this - the garage did - but according to them it's a common fault with this engine. Part is NLA apparently, so fixed with sealant.

I did the rocker cover gasket and bolt seals anyway, as they were definitely weeping.
