Leaky 98 disco 1

Hello to all..
Now i need a little help from you guys...
I've just brought a lovely 's' reg disco, she mint apart from when it rains..
leaks in front footwell and i've found the source of that one which is rusty pact on inner wing.
Also it lets water in round the back door seal. I've replaced the seal but still got the leak...
I've tapped the seal home so it on correctly.
Is it possible door could be damaged? mis shaped?
anybody else had this problem?
most of the water looks like it gets in where the door stay is...

Have you tried adjusting the lock striker plate a few milimetre so the door closes a bit tighter, but if you do over do the adjustment the door won't close.
