Leaking sunroof

Hi all, the sunroofs on my series 2 Disco are leaking, so as i cant get round to doing them until the spring, and i dont use them anyway i sealed them up with gaffer tape. This morning after a night of heavy rain the front was bone dry, :) excellent i thought until i noticed a puddle on rear load cover:mad: . Could it be the Alpine roofs that are leaking ? it drips from the rear near the headrest area

do ya think we could convince him it was in all inclusive holiday and he'd won it in the LZ xmas draw? I'll go with him to fill in all the forms so he can just relax and enjoy himself

Did you seal between the glass and the plastic surround?
If so, the water may still be getting in between the plastic surround and the metal roof.

Otherwise the problem must be the Alpine windows.
 
Rovers answer to the problem put in another skylight and added airconditioning ,this only doubled the problem . You leaked x2, opened the skylight and the aircon could not cope.
