Leaking Snorkel

Got a leaking snorkel on a 200 tdi between the snorkel wing plate and the air filter !

Got a new pipe but need to know how you get access to the plastic bit on the inside of the wing ?? Heater Matrix out ? Inner wing ??

Its a bit of a pain in the ass i find . you can get to it by either removing your arch extention and getting to it under the arch that way and heater box out the way is still a fiddle but if you got small ish hands you might be ok

have you tried removing wing top vent and air funnel for heater box?

Tried that

and I took all the bolts out for the heater box but the bastid still would'nt budge

Got a proper bad leak as the last time I went through "the deep stuff" I nearly killed me engine !!!

Well going to have to sort it now as my heater matrix is fooked !
