i know water ingress is a comon problem, but i was wounderin if aany one had any ideas on where this leak may be commin from, we hav already gone trigger happy wit the ol silicone but still leaking. i have a land rover 90 1987

its not gettin damp, its flooding out, it collect inthe runners either side of the roof an pouring out the back depending on wat angle or incline im parked on

oh yes i did thanks alot for that, we will be fitting it tommoro
Nae probs.
Have ye got a roof liner in yer 90? If not, chances are it might be condensation. Failing that, it might be comin' in from any of the seams on the roof espesially the seam from the drivers side to passenger side where it meats the gutter... or the gutter it's self. PM me yer email and ah'll send ye a copy of the water ingress manual if ye want;) :D

thanks but i already hav it
na its not condsation lol
im talkin about a pint every night it rains

Then ye want to take yer roof linin' out and seal every seam ye can see. When ah painted me roof ah filled in all the seams on top and then put some sealant type stuff where the seam goin' across the way meets the gutter... it's certainly helped a bit;)

Captain Tolleys Creeping Crack Cure!

We use it on boats. Works quite well. Uses capillary action to run along the seams. You can always silicon over it for the bigger gaps. You can usualy find it in boat shops
