Hello Everyone

P38 currentley of the road due to corroded brake pipes (rhside were they pass over the rear axle) is it necessary to replace as far as the brake modultor or are there some connectors in the line?

Thanks Brian

The one that goes over the petrol tank to the LHR is one piece. You can however replace it with two pieces with the joint tucked up under the front of the RH wheel arch. You can thread the new pipe over the tank. There is a gap.

Hi everybody

I have dropped and removed the rear axle , so as to gain access to renew all of the rear brake lines, up to the 2 no inline connectors just before the brake modulator, At the same time i am replacing all of the air springs etc
May i ask advice on the prefered make of air spring to fit?

Following the completion of this work will it be necessary to reset the electronics?

thanks brian

hi all
both of the steel brake lines from front to back badly corroded with some perforation, all stipped out now awaiting delivery of some copper tubing and fitting to make up the new lines
