Hi, I wondered if anyones ever had an issue with a leaking abs valve block? Half way to work this morning the brake pedal went soft and warning started flashing up on the dash about low brake fluid. I notice some over the resivour and abs block leading down to the lower arms. I'm really hoping this is something like leaking from the cap, but wondered if anyone else has experienced this before or had problems with a leak from the block.. please help!

Has it been looked at recently ? I had some spillage from the lid : turned out it had been overfilled. Check the Min & Max lines on the reservoir. Fill to max and check hourly after drying everything off.

Yes, had some rear brake lines fitted for mot a couple of weeks back. Must admit I did overfill but the cap was done up tight. Cleaned it all up last night and some today on underside of the block.

Open the first bleed valve and take out enough to get you down to Min/Max area. Even with cap on I was getting spillage : all fixed since I reduced the level in the reservoir. Don't know if that's you answer but it looks like no coincidence that it happens after yer brake lines are done and you overfill.
It's worth a try.
