Leak off pipes

could the leak off pipes cause my diesel engine in my range rover to tick over rough {hunt} if they were very loose and come off if you catch your finger on them.

I think you might be getting air in it change them all,and the one to the pump,should be a tight fit

thanks mate just done that with very tight fitting pipe was fine at first now its playing up again
