Leaf Springs

Hi

I have a 1972 Series 3 LWB and the rear leaf springs on it are shot, just brought 2 second hand that came from similar vehicle and have the same 10 leaves but the one looks different to the other, the bottom 2 leaves are not sitting straight as per the other spring. Is this normal?

Heres a pic if you look at the newer ones the bottom leaves are out of line compared to the other spring.

Found out the reason they were like this, they are sticking a little in the bracket that hold it together, so under weight they will work fine
