I didn't managed to get to watch it I'm afraid as I got waylaid by someone needing something checked out on their house... I'd like to say it was skirting as Alan would likely have been amused at that, but it wasn't.:(

Thanks...just watched it and glad to have done so,
I didn't know him other than on here and enjoyed every bit of banter I had with him, as I'm sure we all did.

Also nice that LZ got a wee mention.

Huge thanks to you Mozz for all you've done to enable us to be part of his final chapter... he will live on in this forum, as much as anywhere.

MANY THANKS TO ALL THAT WATCHED THE SERVICE , VERY COMFORTING FOR JEAN AND ALL THE FAMILY , ALL THE SUPPORT AND COMMENTS OVER THE LAST FEW WEEKS WERE AKNOWLEDGED IN THE READINGS AS LANDYZONE WAS MENTIONED , I ALSO WATCHED THE SERVICE ONLINE , MANY MANY STORIES WILL BE SWAPPED TOGETHER BY WAMMERS AND TOMCAT , I CAN JUST IMAGINE THE UPROAR AND THE LAUGHTER THEM TWO WILL CAUSE UPSTAIRS , ALAN AND TONY YOU WERE THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK ON HERE CANTANKEROUS WAMMERS IF HE DIDNT GET HIS OWN WAY , THROWING HIS TOYS OUTTA THE PRAM AND TOMCAT USE TO WIND HIM UP EVEN MORE AND A FEW OTHERS "NAMELESS" BUT WE KNEW WHO YOU WERE , I ALWAYS USE TO THINK AY UP ITS THE CHUCKLE BROTHERS AND WOE BETIDE ANYONE WHO DISAGREED WITH THEM , WELL BOYS YOUR HUMOUR AND GREAT INSIGHT AND ADVICE WILL TRULY BE MISSED GOD BLESS AND REST IN PEACE TO MY FRIEND ALAN AND TONY . how would you react if we were to present you with a whole inch of gaffer tape to permanently place over your caps lock?

Actually Scotch tape that, you just wouldn't be the same Mozz in lower case.

Please excuse me if I am offending protocol with this post....... But may I ask our Mods and Masters to consider honouring the likes of Tomcat and Wammers with a 'Lest we forget' sticky?
These guys are the grass roots building blocks of sites like LZ and it is their technical knowledge, humour and selflessness that creates an unique relationship with the membership at large.

What I have in mind is some extra insight into the characters we've lost. I'd love to know the background to Wammers sig pic, G-TONE that little home built aeroplane (A Pazmany PL4 I believe)
and others have alluded that there is much to be said about 'Tomcat' Alan! So, sometimes a full obituary sometimes a simple paragraph, it doesn't matter. The point is that new members and old can understand that we respect and honour our on-line friends.
