Lanes around Bridgnorth area

Morning all,

Just wondered if anyone knew any decent lanes around Bridgnorth/claverley/craven arms area or if anyone fancied a trip out so i can tag along?

Also would be nice to meet some of the landy owners local to me.

I am based near dudley.

There are plenty!!! Nothing to punishing but a few to have a go at.

Im back in Shropshire from June but having to sell my Landy but hopefully wont be long till i get another!! I'll come out and tag along with you one day...

Plenty of nice lanes in the area. As already posted not too challenging generally. Got a few routes mapped out.

Based in Halesowen at the mo.

most of the decent lanes round here have been closed, but there are still a few you can do, i've got most of them marked on o/s maps, we tend to head towards wales these days but if your going out around here give me a shout and i'll tag along

i do these quiet regular did a sunday morn on these a few weeks back i tend to do them with me mate when it gets dark in the winter the track tend to be more fun to drive...... you can go from bobbington airport to hampton load and around that area near the squiral pub ...some good lanes and sites to see once i get my v8 up and running ill be up for some laneing .......o/s explorer map218 is the one for the area

Hi guys,

This area is fairly local to me, (based in Rowley), so would be keen to tag along at some point.
I've done quite a few of the lanes in the area, one to give a wide berth though is in Turley Green, (OS explorer map 218 (kidderminster and wyre forest, grid ref 7615 8550), lane heads southwards from the road. Drove 150 yds down there last weekend and got stuck, thick clay mud, v deep ruts and embankments to either side. Had to do some winching to get out. Then found the lane is impassable due to what looks like a telegraph pole resting accross the lane at windscreen height. Had to do an about turn and face the ruts again.
Would give this one a miss!!

Also the lane that starts opposite this one is impassable too, someones dug a dirty great pond where the lane runs.

lol.....did you read the map right our kid ? ........we had problems with the pond on the lane oposite but if you go across the top of the farmers field and then you come to a gate wich leads into a nice field with a few horses in the lane runs across it and there's another gate on the other side in some trees wich has a good drop into the lane wich runs along the side of the ponds and leads back to the main road via a small bridge .....tis a good lane , also that pole needs to be shifted .! ....

Next weekend would be better for me as I'm out tomorrow evening.
