Morning.

Does anyone in Wiltshire with a good knowledge of the plains / surrounding green lanes fancy acting as sort of a guide for a couple of Somerset / Devon based land rover owners? Obvioulsy the favour could be returned if anyone fancied a day down here.

Over the last few years i feel we have done to death the best lanes within a hour of our locations, the next level is venturing to the planes etc, i have been previously but always others with local knowledge.

And yes i know i could get a map and just do it, but you cant beat local knowledge of what lanes are and are not worth doing.

Regards

I find going out armed with a bit of map knowledge helpful.

have you tried glass (green lane association) you will need to be a member.
Only problem you can get on certain parts of the plains are red flag days where there is no public access due to live fire exercise.
