after stripping my 110 td5 to sort the chassis ,i replaced tho noisy pump in the tank, also while building it up i replaced the fuel filter, ran through the purge a few times , key fob seems to work alright but i have changed the battery, however the thing refuses to start , there is diesel in the filter, and it started with a sniff but stopped after squirt was gone, have checked impact switch ,and ok. would an old fashioned tow do the trick, or will i need computerised wizardry, or could a fresh pair of eyes see something i have missed,:confused:thanks.

How many times did you run through the purge cycle? Did the pump quieten down? If it didn't then give it a few more purges. It can sometimes take as many as 10 cycles.

i have purged it many times , the fuel is present in the cooler and the pressure valve and have had booster pack on it and is spinning over but not an hint of firing just like no fuel is exiting the injectors, soul destroying as i have been on months rebuiding and cant wait to be driving the thing,a trip to the experts i think, what ever happened to two bits of wire and a light bulb ha ha .

I know that you've checked the actual cut off switch hasn't tripped but check the connector underneath it is ok too. Give all the fuses under the seat a wiggle while yer at it. They like to get corrosion on em.

Have you checked/replaced any earth straps you might have removed while sorting yer chassis?
