Landy virgin, please help!

Firstly, hi. I have finally aquired my first landy at the tender age of 40 and I love it to bits. But I have a couple of pressing problems. Firstly my windscreen wipers only work on fast and one touch, and the do not finish the cycle. Is this a relay problem, and if so where would I find it? Plase excuse my ignorance I have looked but so far it has eluded me.
Secondly the front edge of my dashboard has curled up a little. Can it be gently heated up and refitted or will I need a new one?

Thank you in advance, i will try to figure out how this forum works a little better so I don't embarrass myself too much :eek:

1) it helps if yo post what vehicle and model and age it is.

2)Mods can yu move this post to relevant section when we know wot it is;)

it does help us if ya tell us what landy ya got but if ya cleva like me you'll just look at the profile an find you got a 94 2.5tdi disco:rolleyes:
but do a proper search you will find something for almost any problem;)

that aint clevva - thats wet-nursing newbies. - i assume 200TDi?
 
Oh god I feel like a muppet!

It's a 1994 discovery 2.5 TDI. no mods. Thank you all for your reply's. I promise to do better in future:)
 
Thanks for the warning. I know these forums can be like and I am quite prepared for a hammering after that first post;)
 
i've had the problem with the wipers on two cars an astra and a citreon
it turned out to be the switch in the stalk was fecked
an usualy its a sealed unitso you cant just fill em full of wd40, but you can get em from paddock's.co.uk i think you can any way.
