hi all does ani1 know were i can get my landy painted in camo and how much wud it cost, thank

Its really hard to find on the shelf because it blends in so well...


Do a search...theres a link somewhere..

Best place would be outside your house. Cost would be the paint and a handful of cheap brushes, plus a few hours of your time. Do you think the army send theirs to the local body shop to be painted?

I did it myself with a roller, have a go yourself!
A few more ive done;

thats some good results from a roller.

once the gearbox/clutch is sorted on my mr2 i in tend roller painting that battleship grey

Guy I know has done his 110 with DPM fabric applied using fibre glass resin. Saw it the other day and the finish is really good.

what kind of paint have you used with the roller

I used exterior gloss for metal and plastic, oxford blue, from Homebase..£4.90 for 750ml. I got 2 tins and used 1 and 1/2 for my truckcab 90.

Really pleased with result, roller and small brush.

I buy mine from the car paint shop.
Synthetic satin for military landys.
Synthetic gloss for civvie landys.

The white 90 in my pictures I did with one coat!

did u sand it down 1st or just paint straight over it

If so...i lightly sanded it..i mean 30 mins for the lot...then white spirit on a cloth to clear the dust..then i got the roller out and made it as wet as a scoutmaster at a christening. Took me 3 hours.

I use them scouring pad thingys, very easy to use and cheap to!
Then a wipe over with white spirit and start painting!
