Landrover optional extra-gun safe query

hi all, right today i was offered a landrover gun safe from a friend of a friend, he says he believes its the genuine one from a range rover, now i know they did come as an optional extra but ive never seen one, does anyone know if the one in the pics is a genuine one. he only wants £30 for it so im gonna have it anyway as ive run out of room in other one.

thats good news! didnt even think of looking at Rave to see if it was in there!!!

nice idea with it running of the locks but knowing a p38 a random signal would interfere with it and cause it to open at random! either that or it would go in fault mode and stay locked!!!

I've got the P38 Accessories catalogue and that looks like it is genuine, can't tell for sure as the cat picture is of the box open but for what its worth the part no. is STC8018L.

I just checked the new website and the Part no. is still STC8018 so I doubt its changed in a long time.

Might have came out the back of a Holland & Holland. Gun maker special

my mates dropping it round next week, does anyone know the part number or kit for all the fittings, was thinking of having a look at fitting it in the back if not ill use it as another for indoors.

I think you need STC8533 and they are about the same price, £30.

If your mate gets any more boxes, let me know, I am after one.
