I have a feeling he isn't, and some of the responses he has received on his threads are saddening.

I hope you're mistaken, because if he is for real then you're right, our response is a bit off-key. That said, the 4chan forum he references is for - how to put it? - anarchists, hackers, trolls and off-colour humour, and I couldn't find any obvious reference to him, or Landyzone, or his Land Rover (or anyone else's) in the auto section. That, and the stereotypical reference to his uncle running a takeaway, made me think that he's more likely yanking our collective chain than not.

Either way, I'm not about to start posting racist insults - there's never any need for that, and like you say, he might genuinely have recently arrived in Australia and be looking for Land Rover advice.

It's more than possible it's a parody account, it is very stereotypical but either way responding in kind doesn't do us any favours.

If the OP is genuine I'd suggest joining an Aussie LR forum where they will know all about Holden 173 'red' engine conversions.

It's not an issue if it's just a troll, they come and go and are of little significance
