Landrover def 90 clutch

My clutch wont engage, its just solid, think the clutch fork has had it! any ideas if i can take the fork off without the need to change the clutch?

Depends if the fork has beggered your clutch byflapping around inside.....you wont know till you split the box

Will the clutch work without there being an engine?

most likely to be the fork, the rod from the slave cylinder may have drilled right through it.
Make sure you reinforce the new one slightly to make it last longer.

Might as well change the clutch while your in there, at least you'll know it's all ok then.

thanks, went for the gearbox out option and replaced the clutch and fork with a HD version

Ah took the box out to do mine as well, did ye change the seal to the gearbox while ye had it out?
