Landrover Awning

As my screen name suggest we do fireworks displays, I am looking at putting some form or retractable awning on the side of the disco.

Can anyone point me in the right direction, surely others must have done this for camping etc..?

You'd need to use a roof tent style set up, hook it to the gutter on the discovery and have it come out from there

I can fabricate anything I need like brackets on my to be built roof rack, so alls i need is a retacable canopy and I should be good to go. Having trouble fining one.

Surely any awning designed for a vehicle e.f. Fiamma would do if you can fabricate your own brackets.

We use a Fiamma canopy on our little caravan, I guess a smaller one would work. It sits in a zipped bag and I have no doubt a channel/frame could be made to attach it to a roofrack or even gutter. The legs are adjustable for height ..

That said, I get by just fine with an army surplus basha and a couple of extendable tent poles!
