Hi, its me again!
Just changed my gearbox, transfer box, engine oil and axle oil with the help of a mate, he told me that I had water mixed in with the axle oil, so we sorted this problem out and now I want to replace my breathers, and axle connections. As they terminate just below the body of the car, I plan to take them higher.
My question is:
can I terminate the breathers into my snorkel or the engine compartment. Also how many and were do I need to fit wading plugs.
My engine is a lt77, lt95 gearbox and not sure about the transfer box, think its a 230r, might be wrong!

Thanks in advance

Secure the doors with tape before going through water or they'll fall oft.

Depends on how deep you wanna go, IMO the engine bay is plenty high enough for a V8, the lectrics dont like water anyway. O took my pipe through the wing and up behind the snorkel, one less hole to seal :)

thanks guys for your constructive and helpful comments. im sure they will come in handy sometime when ive had too much to drink, and want to spout a load of drivel and rubbish to my mates.
don't think ill ask a serious question on here again, I thought I could get some serious help on here...guess I was wrong.

Don't take it to heart. They give crap answers to anyone who asks something they think peeps should already know. Stick about and you'll find a wealth of information. Group hug everyone :5bgrouphug:

Awwww. Run the breathers to the top of the snorkel. The best place for them any lower and you may end up getting water in them.

You generally get some unwanted responses but there are plenty that will help.

My breathers terminate using "T" pieces under the bonnet at the top of the bulkhead so that there is only 1 breather that runs up the snorkel to the top and in to the intake. For wading plugs I am not very familiar with the v8 layout but one should be at the bottom of the timing case cover and 1 in the bellhousing. I generally keep mine out on road and pop them in for laning etc in case any seals go anywhere it allows those areas to drain.
