Just for information, those of you Landy owners who live in Cheshire and the surrounding areas, i have recieved an email today from our local homewatch/community police saying that a number of defenders have been stolen in the area recently. Please be aware and make sure you lock up/alarm/ rig your landy with explosives to make sure thieves get nowhere near them! Thanks

I had the police call in at work with a defender TD5 engine ECU and 10AS alarm unit they had got from some chop shop. the scrotes were using them to nick defenders. the cops wanted the VIN out of the ECM to see where it had come from, so don't rely on your vehicle immobilisation and alarm.
