My recently purchased 90 Hardtop has a Land Rover Special Vehicles plate on the drivers seat mounting. Does anyone know how I can find out what's special? Does Land Rover keep a record of such modifications?
 
They do keep the records cos if you want a special vehicles badge if yours is stolen of lost you can only get them from land rover and you have to tell them your vin number to make sure yours really is a special vehicle. Phone them and see what they say.
