Good Day,

I recently purchased a second hand Landrover Freelander 2 (2007) that was purchased in the UK but currently is in Trinidad and Tobago.

I accidentally put a fuel mix of diesel and kerosene into the vehicle. A few days later the vehicle stalled.

My mechanice has since drained all the fuel, replaced it with diesel and changed the fuel filter and then primed the engine.

The vehicle is still cranking but not starting.

As far as I am aware, the previous owner never ran a diagnostic scan. I did one and a few errors came up, but they were cleared.

Can you provide some advice on what should be done next?

I would doubt that a kero/diesel mix would stop it, as kero can used as a diesel engine combustion chamber cleaner, and its use can't be detected.

The crank sensor is know to fail on these engines, so that's what I'd be changing first.

Ok thanks for the advice! Will look into having it replaced.
