Land Rover Discovery 3 55 plate

Hi. I'm hoping someone can help me. I have the above vehicle only owned it a few month and the glow plugs need changing. The mechanic managed to get one changed, the second came came a bit out then stuck and the other 4 are just stuck. Iv heard that you can buy a device that bypasses the glow plugs and heats the engine and it's switched on from the key fob ? Has anyone heard of this and what it's actually called. I saw something on Britpart but wasn't actually sure if I was looking at the right thing or what's it's called.

Can anyone help ? Just a bit of advice really.

Welcome. I think your on about a fuel burning heater to be honest you still need to change those glow plugs out
