Just received a pair off genuine Land Rover Defender 90 standard rear coil springs . I have noticed both have the same paint markings ,red, yellow, green are they not handed no more ?

According to the 2 spring charts I have, green yellow red is 90 drivers side rear heavy duty.
Passenger side rear heavy duty should be green yellow white.

The link above is to one of the charts I have saved.
The chart lists the colours the other way round to what you said so you must be holding the spring upside down lol :D:D
As far as what modern practice is with regards to handed springs..... I ain't got a clue!! Soz:oops:

Thanks rich ,it seems if they are still handed I have two for the same side ,so they can be put on upside down by mistake ?

Lol ignore the comment about them being upside down cuz the colours are the other way round!!
That was just a joke - sorry for confusion!!
The springs can go any way up.

According to another forum. Land rover no longer fitted handed springs, a lot of people selling new take offs. And both sides are the same.
