Hi there LRZ,

New here but wonder if anyone could help.

I am trying to make my LR slightly warmer in the cab on journeys (needed this time of year!) and wonder if anyone has a good tips to make the heating system in the front work better... The screen demisters work perfectly but the heaters underneath do not work well at all...

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi and welcome!

The heater on my 200Tdi 90 needs some attention. I’ve found the heater matrix’ on the link which will help...

It’s worth looking at your cooling system too and making sure this is in good working order. It might need flushing through and checking the thermostat is properly working too. Make sure the heater controls are are working freely and the heater vents move. If not used, these can seize up.

Maybe you should just consider installing a cheap Chinese diesel heater, pretty simple install, works from a remote you can pre warm the cab before you use it and keep it on while driving.

Me I just turn my heated seats , steering wheel on and set the climate to 22.

Oh welcome to the loony zone
