Land Rover 90 stolen

Hi,

Our Land Rover 90 was stolen from outside our house last night. We have already contacted the official lines, but appreciate any help. She was not only our essential work vehicle, but our only car and beloved member of the family. Thank you. Details are as below:

Land Rover 90 born 1986
registration D271 OVX
Matt green with white roof
roof rack in photos not on when stolen
Petrol

Stolen from Rowlands Castle, PO9, in Hampshire. Taken from roadside parking 3 m from our house. Neighbours heard her start up at approximately midnight 29th/30th November. She had about 30 miles in the tank so may have needed top up.

Unique features:
White gaffa tape strap on passenger side below wing mirror over rust hole.
4/5 inch gauge on driver side black tubing near step rail. Beginning to rust.
Slight dent towards centre rear of bonnet, paint starting to marginally peel.
Rear window passenger side been replaced with plexiglass.
Driver side door window inoperable. Been temporarily held in position with wooden prop.

She has been found! Had quite an adventure by the police report. Absolutely incredible, in less than 24 hours, we are all over the moon. I did a huge social media campaign and local radio appeal as well so you never know if this put the thieves off the sent. Either way thank you all so much for eye and ears and positive vibes. We are so so happy. Have a baby on the way any day as well, so even more exciting. Babe's first adventure will be off road in a Land Rover. Brilliant. Thank you.

Great news - more details of the adventure please?

Fantastic news that you got your Landy back. You are very lucky, most are never seen again.

Get some security on it now. I’d recommend the X-eng pedal lock as it stays in the floor and no need to have it loose in the vehicle when not in use.
Also very difficult to bypass, they’d probably need to tow it away.
But any security....disc lock, pedal lock, fuel cutoff, tracker....do something and do it now

So pleased you got your Landy back. Do get a disclock and tracker. Landy's are often stolen then parked up for a few days before being taken off for good. Wishing you all the best with your new arrival and many happy family days out in your Landy
