Land Rover 90 rebuild diff issue

Hi

well I’m doing something stupid or I’m being stupid . My Landy 90 1990 came with arp air looking diff and what looks like heavy duty drive shafts . I cannot get them out Thayer Evans seems to be a hexagonal nut that I this is cast as I can’t do anything with it . I need to strip it out to change disks etc and rebuild . Here is a pic

hexagonal nut

Those hex nut covers can end up being very tight. if you put the flange bolts back in , you may still need to find a way to stop the hub rotating as you try to undo the nut. It should be the same size as the wheel bearing lock nuts.
