Land Rover Series 3 109" Safari roofed station wagon. Would originally have been a 12 seater but the front three seats have been removed and replaced with two period 'aftermarket' seats (which are very comfortable!)

The Landy was basically a 'barn find' that had been off the road for a number of years. It was recently put through an MOT and passed with the following advisorys;
*Service brake efficiency only just met. It would appear the braking system requires adjustment or repair.
*Ign barrel and steering lock dissabled.
*Chassis has had patch repairs.

So basically we have a roadworthy Station Wagon in need of some recommissioning and as much or as little retoration as you desire. Personally I think it has a certain charm as it is!

One bonus for those who live in or work/visit London is that as an original Station Wagon it is not subject to the low emission zone charges. It is of course also road tax free and qualifies for cheap classic car insurance.

All in all, cheap transport that is unlikely to depriciate and may well prove to be an investment, restored ones are selling for £15,000 and up!

I also have a full length Brownchurch roof rack that could be included as part of the deal.

On Ebay for £3495. but there is a fair bit of movement in the price for a quick no nonsense sale,

I wish you luck with that one personally I wouldn't pay half that! They are a good motor I have had one before, but that looks like it needs a lot of time and money spent!
My crystal ball suspects it may have the unloved 2.6 petrol as well :eek:

I've turned down "more than half" already. What makes you think it's a 2.6?:eek:
