From a practicality perspective, and from a personal one, i think if the doors were bottom hinged and the door card was actually moulded steps, it would be nice to disembark with a bit of dignity and would save the seat and side trim getting squashed.

My weird humour maybe, but if i were there and the Honda owner opened his door, prob for the first time, and it just fell off onto the tarmac and rocked a bit, i think i would probably choke with laughter and uncontrollably lose bladder function....
