Lack of response to accelerator

New member I have X reg 1.8 k series and have suffered most of the problems so well described in these pages. Mine at the moment will not react to the accelerator if pushed hard when on the move. It gives the impression of ignition fault and cuts out. the remedy is simple. i switch off, immediately start again and move off until we stop again. Seems as though the action causes something to reset itself. So far I have changed dizzy, rotor, cables and the crank sensor. Accelerator position sensor is next probably followed by a look at the fuel pump.(if ican find it.) Can anyone please throw some more ideas at me
