Ay up, saw your post in tuther thread, I would match it number for number if you replace it. Is there anything on Google that suggests a commo fault?
It's a shame these systems are so integrated into the cars. There is some pretty good aftermarket systems out there.
My Volvo V50 had a stupid indash 6 disk player that is integrated that well with fibre optic cables and can't be changed even though the disk player has destroyed itself
