Range = 55 miles, I don't suppose it's a low fuel warning by any chance?L494 RRS 5.0l Supercharged. Could someone please tell me what this warning light is. It’s just come on today and it’s not in the hand book. If I switch off the car and then restart it’s still there. I’ve not seen this one before.

Hi J thanks, I’m loathed to take to JLR but have specialist not too fat away but I’m curious to know I’ve had RRSs for years now this is my 6th one, I love them but JLR are the worst service and PR I’ve ever come across.no idea. but to guess its the sort of symbol used by JLR for suspension type issue.
Oh and welcome .

Easy... it's one of the 'special programs' icons, if you press the rotary selector for the special programs so it's down ('auto'), the icon will disappear - that one indicates a road-biased program.
Many thanks for that, operator issues here I must have just caught the selector and not noticed. It's not an error, just an indication - the same as the amber 'snowflake' for low temperatures and the amber low fuel icon.
Brilliant. This is why we love this forum. Some one always has the answer to our problemsEasy... it's one of the 'special programs' icons, if you press the rotary selector for the special programs so it's down ('auto'), the icon will disappear - that one indicates a road-biased program.

As is not reading the owners handbook, assuming that they still supply one these days.Sometimes a 'feature' is the problem!

When cars were a mode of transport rather than toys full of gimmicks, there was much less to read in the owners hand book.To be fair, it's not at all clear from the manual where and when these indications will appear - I worked as a LRE instructor part-time for a few years, at the time it was common for new owners to be given the 1/2 day 'experience', in most cases, we were filling in the gaps in the (supposedly) extensive vehicle handover the sales reptiles gave, and there is a finite amount of attention you can give when you just want to drive away with your new car....

Owners manuals used to give you the settings for tappet clearances, now the most helpful they can be is to tell you to not drink the battery 'juice'...
