Okay so I was messing with the reversing light today to fit a reversing camera and would have had various doors / tail gate open for about an hour.....went to start the car and....nothing lights all came on fine steering wheel moves as normal but no lovely V8 noise.

Tried many times then got annoyed and jump started it from my other car - no problem on first turn of the key.

Now its refused to start a couple of times but in the past its just taken a switch off and try again for it to all work great.

Question I have is - a) my battery low on charge / on its way out b) whats with the warning about charging the battery due to an explosive charge on the + terminal !!!!!!! how do I recharge it without getting blown sky high !

Help !

- Simon

if you read the handbook on the battery/jump leads there are 2 points in the engine bay away from the battery where you can attach jump leads. this is because the positive terminal has a small explosive designed to blow the pos terminal off and avoid any fuel sparking off and causing an explosion.

Yep read that - sorted the jump start issue - can I use the remote positive terminal when charging the battery as well ?
