Have a customer who has an HSE version of L322 with no sat nav fitted. The radio has gone on the blip.
If the unit is changed for the sat nav screen version will this cure the sound problem or is it going to be the rear Harman Kardon amp?
Any help or pointers would be useful.

Hi, I had the same problem. Firstly, don't think it is a HK amp. Mine was LEAR. I changed to a BMW amp from the LR original. I have a spare one (working) which I bought earlier but had the wrong socket for my loom. you can have at cost if you need/if it's the correct one.

secondly, changing the head unit for a sat nav version may not work due to the different amp required and other wiring/loom.

Am near Bath. PM me for my mobile if you want to discuss further/meet up to compare vehicle set-up.

You cannot fit a sat nav screen version in a non sat nav vehicle, the wiring looms are completely different and are not interchangeable. Are you getting the orange power light on? if not that would indicate a problem with the radio unit (which is built in the MID) if you are check the amp in the rear for water damage which is a very common issue.
