L322 Radio lost pixels

Hello all

Just got my first Range Rover l322 HSE this week !
and i love it !!

got the common lost pixels in the radio console.

seen the replacement ribbon cable you can get, just wondering do they fix the lost pixels or will it need a new lcd screen ??

i can do the install myself, but just wondering is it quite straight forward to repair ?
