L322 Pre purchase inspections or What goes wrong with them

Hi

Just trying to find out a bit more regarding common faults with this model.
Really fancy one for the family run about but have heard horror stories regarding reliablility and cost of repairs etc.
So what does go wrong with them and how much does it cost to fix them up.

Also does anyone do a good pre purchase inspection service?

Also does anyone do a good pre purchase inspection service? Only if it finds all the faults.

AA or RAC but it will cost an arm and a leg, and still not guaranteed to find everything. That's why they have very small print disclaimer at the bottom of them. But better than someone who just knows how to kick tyres.
