i have l322 running on gas, i was wondering as it has short runs on petrol until it switches over to gas would it be a good idea to use redex injector treatment to stop them choking up?

And i think it would depended on if you have single or multi point injection but im not to sure from my understanding single point goes in with air and multipoimt goes in through each injector but i may be wrong

yer, i have been blasting half a tank of petrol through it now and again. but the price of the stuff is painful!i thought if i added redex i wouldnt have to do it? or am i just being greedy? lol

Lol erm tbh i just do like a quater of a tank of petrol a month for a good blast, and im not a lpg expert i just about understand my single point, i have been told before multipoint has its own iinjectors but imnot sure on that

LPG and Petrol on a multipoint system use different injectors....

It is often advisable to run it on petrol a couple of times a month to keep the petrol injectors clean - not sure what redex does, never used it.

redex is baisically an injector cleaner, i used to use it my p38 as i only used it for short journeys to work which resulted in poor running and rough idleing, redex sorted it within a week of first using it so i carried on with it.

Had this conversation with a master mechanic of land rover.

His advise to me was before you come to the stop as in the finish journey turn to petrol a few hundred hards before!
