I'm changing to petrol because I don't think derv is popular, towns are starting to ban them from entering, with everyone so against them its hard to justify getting one, and I think that's why they are cheaper

yes your right, on the plus side petrol is cheaper, around my area petrol is 60p cheaper than derv, per gallon, no brainer, go look at one tomorrow, just would like to know if there are any problems with the 5-0 ltr jag engine,

They used to be on the early jag engines but I am not 100% but they sorted it out after 2010 models, if I am wrong (and I often am) someone will come along and put me right

gumtree but from a retail, so if anything goes a miss I can bend there ears.

I have only been looking on eBay so far, but its some time off till I get mine

bloody loads on gumtree, private as well as garages, give it a try.

I'm was bidding on a couple on the bay a few of weeks back but with no luck, one a 2011 the other a 2009.

The AJV8 engines are pretty good, but beware with the 5.0 there's not many about compared with the 4.2 ....a engine rebuild is VERY expensive on them

I'm looking at the earlier 4.2's now...... But The 2006 facelift version, more modern, new dash, touch screen nav, terrain response, EPB etc.

Yea true.... but while they work its great lol and I have learnt, no toys they still go wrong!
