Hi guys yet another problem with the beast!!!
I have a l322 2005 td6 , 2 weeks ago I noticed it's wasn't turning first time then nothing at all then after a few turns it started, after that the horn wouldn't work and then the window washers wouldn't work!!
Now the washers work but when you press the horn they stop!!!!
Please guys can anyone shed any light on the matter.
Regards Eugene

Check your battery terminals are clean and super tight , you may need to clean inside the clamp. I had a brand new battery that would turn the car over and when I touched the negative terminal with anything metallic it was sparking and crackling as there wasn’t a good connection between the post and the clamp.
When you say not turning , you turned the key and got nothing or just a click ?

Yes , when you turned the key nothing at all just dead!!
Have you any ideas on the fault with the window wipers and horn

Low battery volts causing the vehicle ECUs major confusion.

Check the strength of hte battery and connections as above. The L322 is very power sensitive, the slightest drop in battery condition will cause havoc with an L322

I can only think you have a poor connection or earth somewhere, when you say the connections were all fine on the battery, i had to remove the terminal and clean inside it.
Other than that you could try searching through the rave manual for common earth points or wiring between the horn and wipers. Something inside the steering column connections maybe.
Do you have the rave manual electronics library

I have just downloaded the rave electrical manual this evening, il try and make head or tail of it!!!!
Thanks guys, il keep u informed of how it goes
