I have just purchased a L322 TD6 2004 which has had a N308 (BMW) satnav/TV/DVD fitted to it. This does not seem to be connected to the clocks on the dashboard so my question is

Is there any other way of adjusting the clocks in this vehicle if the original ICE has been replaced with an aftermarket unit?

Do I need the old Land Rover original tool ( a big hammer )? Or the new tool (a bigger hammer)? Or is this more technical?

Welcome to LandyZone :welcome2:

This section is for people who are in need of rescue. For example they have broken down, or have got themselves stuck on a lane somewhere.

It's a voluntary AA type service if you like.

It might be an idea to nip over to the introduce yourself section first to say hi etc.
Once you have done that then look for the Range Rover section you have a much better chance of help in there :)

Failing that can't you just get the Butler to sort it ?

brilliant.

Another tit who can't be bothered to read the forum.

I didn't know there was this many of them on the internet!

I opened the thread to comment on the woes of owning an L322… how do I adjust the clock!?! …

For St Elvis' sake!

Then I noticed it was in LZIR …

What a prize clot!

Sounds like your purchase was a big mistake.
You could try reading the forum, introducing yourself and posting in the correct section.

You know with attitudes like displayed in here its no wonder other drivers think that Land Rover Owners are arseholes

Forget the help

Keep your attitude and good luck

Actually as you are such an arrogant arse, we may just forget helping you:multiply:
Can you blame the poor guy, such an urgent LZIR request and you turn up 2 days late with sacasm, Shame on you and anyone following on:mooning::hysterically_laughi:hysterically_laughi:hysterically_laughi

I did consider deleting the humourless twerps thread from forum or booting to anything goes- but perhaps the range rover boys can chew him out instead.

I was gonna help and say that the Clock on the Dash is set using the MID or 16:9 colour display depending on your model....and there is no other way to do it...most aftermarket installs that replace the MID/Display retain it and keep it connected in the boot so that clock and date settings can still be made....

But considering your response to a bit of harmless ribbing (it gets like that on here - part of the fun) you can go poke it....This reply is for the next innocent forum user who stumbles upon this thread in hopes it solves his query, after all that is the point of a forum!
