L322 Brakes

Hi Guys,
I want to change the brakes on my 4.4 (04). My mate works in europarts and has got me quotes but have a few questions. the first is how can i find out which front brakes i need? ATE or Lucas? his system has found two for my car. the second is what size rear disc do i need? his system has found 304mm and 354mm? do i need brake warning wires if the old ones haven''t been worn/activated?

Get the best quality pads you can, the rear discs are 354mm, save yourself any hassle and replace the brake wear sensors at the same time....it's an easy enough job to do so go for the lot.

If memory serves me right when i done mine, 4 new discs, new pads and sensors all round was about £250 inc VAT and took approx 3 hours to fit.

Just looked at the invoice an getting them at cost for about £150. What would the 304mm discs be from?

Delisle,

When you say brakes need changing, are you just taking about pads and discs, or the calipers too?

Its only the disc's and pads i want to change.
