Hi there I have an 03 TD6 Vogue. Recently had the air suspension inactive code come up so did all the usual checks. Upon checking rear left bag the sub frame had rusted and snapped. Just had a new frame fitted and now she’s riding low all around and no light on the suspension switch up/down plus dash still signals “air suspension inactive” . Just fitted a new Air Suss relay and nothing and took the compressor out and it’s not making any noise so I presume not working ? Could it be the compressor most likely ? TIA

You need to get it plugged in to diagnostics and see what faults are stored, it may be a case of clear the fault codes, do a suspension re-calibration and take it from there, if the system goes into fault again you can begin rectifying.

If the garage who did the work did not reset the EAS system and do a calibration they need to be smacked with a wet kipper and told to do the job right.

Thanks for the reply I did the frame myself at home but will plug it into a diagnostic tomorrow thanks for this
Then it is you, sir, who needs slap in the face with the wet kipper! :D:D:D:p

Plug it in, reset the fault codes, do a re-calibration and see if you get any faults back.

Changing out the subframe, whilst they should be identical, may cause the height sensors to sit in different positions and as such need calibrating again. If the sensors have been moved out of range they can drag dirt onto the tracks causing spurious readings causing ECU confusion....

I trust you have done the lock to lock reset for the Steering Angle Sensor - if you unplugged the battery - which I hope you did!

Plug in and see where you're at.
