This fault has reappeared on my 2004 L322 Vogue.First time it was incorrectly installed level sensors at the front. This time I have the EAS reset tool and it worked no problem, but came back two days later and this time wont reset.Reset tool was saying cannot connect to EAS.
So got AA involved and they sent it to a local 4 x 4 garage who I have been told are very good .Now over a week later it is still there in bits and they say they cant communicate with the computers at all to be able to read the errors and reset. It was drivable when they got it as the suspension switch was set to lock. They think it is a cable fault but so far have had no joy .
They are now getting an ex Land Rover auto electrician to look at it.
Has anyone had similar problems to this on there L322:confused:

Have you done anything to the suspension or was the first error a one off?

Oh yeah and welcome to LZ :D

i had a similar problem with my L322 range rover not communicating on the diagnostic bus it was caused by the previous owner wiring the new style headlights up incorrectly which was putting 12v on to the diagnostic bus, make sure that if they have messed with the electrics that they have put it back correctly also can they communicate with any of the other ecus?

Matt

Another point to consider is if the actual machines reading the ecus are faulty I always carry two diag machines t4 and a Snapon solus as both work on l322 if both fail then it is either power or faulty ecu usually the LCD module has been reset service light with a BMW tool and wiped all the memory which in turn buggers up the multi plebe ring main meaning you cannot talk to any ecus then it is a major problem also the bus link fails due to water inbreed in the loom or the pump has been flooded and blown the ecu seen this happen
