On my 02 .4.4 L322 my ABS has been coming on when braking to complete stop. When it first happened had very quick flash of abs warning light, the problem then disappeared. Now problem has come back no warning lights, however when moving off from complete stop after abs has kicked it feels like abs trying still keep brakes on. The car been plugged in for diagnostic no fault codes.

Was the live data read to see the sensors picking up the wheels moving?
As Alan says à well bearing can caysw a bad airgap between the sensor and the ring. Also a bad/rubbed through wire of cracked abs ring on the cv joint.
