Just a note to anyone having a/c problems with their L322, don't go the same route I did, and think blowing hot on one side is a blend motor issue,
having stripped out the whole dash and finding no problems .I did manage to download the rave manual, and after some serious searching found the fault was cause by a fooked duel heater control valve, which lives on the n/s/f inner wing just below the abs unit.It had developed an inturnal leak and burnt the coils out thus not allowing the valve to close and sending hot coolant to the heater matrix, this in turn can also burn out the control panel, not on mine tho, 47dgs outside and all cold inside!!

Yep all good, for now, am in the process of printing the manuals off, have used up several forests so far!

luddite!! i keep mine on my laptop, on my mobile phone and on my desktop, i also have it on cd and on my mobile broadband memory card!! just in case i need it!!

i think i have all eventualities covered there!!

seams like you are well covered, just hope you don't have a power cut or your battery go flat?

I know this is probably chancing it a bit after all this time, but how did you diagnose the unit at fault? I've had 3 P38's previously & had problems with the dreaded blend motors on all of them. Just got my 1st L322 (& love it), but cold is not very, and hot only works on maximum. Driver's side blows slightly harder than passenger side (Uk, RHD) on all fan settings. I can't find anything on here about it & will probably go get Kwik-Fit to do a re-gas, just to see if there are any leaks - any thoughts or ideas greatly appreciated...
