Hi everyone.
I have a can bus fault come up on the air suspention , abs, and steering sensor.
I reacently had it jacked up to replace the leaky steering rack. all done nicely.
Bought an icar soft v2 to clear faults look at data. charged battery overnight.
I drive 3 to 4 miles and the fault happens. if i turn it off for 5 mins the fault is gone.
I drive 3 to 4 miles the fault happens .
I have replaced the front hight sensors for new today and it still does it.
Any help would be most welcome.
Ive looked at videos about replacing steering sensor and break pedal switch. As these seem to creat the same issue with other people.
Many thanks Andy

Andy I’m having the same problem. Jacked the front up to replace disks pads and have the same problem
Mine the fault is gone first thing. Drive 20 miles and it pops up. Says front left abs sensor and hdc and air suspension. Replaced abs sensor and height sensor on left front but still same problem. Live reading from the soft shows steering sensor working and brake pedal. Grrrrr abs pressure between .3 to zero bar and 48bar when foot on brake

Ah ok sorry for your troubles..... Im gonna get the wife to drive it as i watch wheel speed data on the screen see if its one of those sensors.
I disconected the battery for an hour and did the steering reset when you reconnect power again. It did 3 miles and lit up same faults.

I've àn l322 at the garage that has a front right sensor, motor over heat and height control valve codes.
It also has a leak at the top of the strut that only presents itself when the height is changed on the car or when driven and the weight is shifted up and down. Drives a similar distance and then sits down on that corner.
Question, what condition are the airbags in on the front suspension?
Any wetness also around the airbag guides?

Having been to my local landy man we discussed all the diagnostics. We’ve come to the conclusion of a duff wheel bearing that’s not noisy. So I’m going to replace the driveshaft and wheel bearing. I’ve used J & R trading in Birmingham for years and the shafts still going with no breaks in the cv joints and they are only £85. Wheel bearing still doing my homework on that.

Hi there. I can raise the car to full hight and leave it overnight and it is at the same hight in the morning.

The one at the garage will also do the same thing but when your driving it you can hear it "pifffing" over bumps and eventually the pump overheats and times out.
Can you see any live data with your diagnostic tool?

Well its been a long time but i cured it.... I checked my work with the replacement steering rack and found out i had put it back togeather one spline out .... this had made the steering wheel just out enough to make me check it out again.
Just taken it out for a spin and covered 40 miles with no more faults on the dash.

You could see that on diagnostic live data. Had client with a mercs van. Sounds daft but the steering wheel was 360°out!! The abs would go on when he pulled away in a turn as the computer couldn't correlate the wheels speed and steering direction and thought the van had a spinning wheel... Nice fix;)

I had same problem after having my alignment done, drove out of the ramp and got the dreaded "bong" of doom! Checked everything, sensors etc and nothing could explain the issues. Couldn't see how the alignment procedure would have triggered a fault as the car wasn't jacked up, I had stuck it on lowest setting with a door open to freeze the suspension! Pulling my hair out and then a few days later it just cleared itself? Maybe you just need to drive it a bit longer?
