L322 2005 model vogue steering lock, just inserting the key releases the steering lock, does anyone know if the lock resets after a period of time if the key is left in but not turned to the aux position? I.e the doors re lock if not opened after a short period of time from being unlocked.
I tow the car but the when key is in the aux position the engine battery goes flat after about two hours, wondered if I can tow with the key in to release the steering lock but not turned to aux position, therefore except the steering lock very little is powered up and therefore reduced drains on the battery.
