L322 2004 LCM Problems

Hi everybody i am a new member with a problem that i think is quite common on the L322 indicators stopped working brake lights coming on when car off and locked.
I have purchased a replacement LCM and would like to ask can i just swap it out or does it need Coding ? I live in Leicestershire if anybody could help please

LCM's are a bit tricky as they also store a backup of the cars mileage so if the replacement has a higher mileage I believe after so long the car will take the higher mileage unless you over right it.
I did mine with BMW Scanner 1.4.0 cheap enough on ebay but was a bit of a faff working out how to do it.
It's also best if you buy one for the same year and spec, LED conversions are a known issue as the bulb test makes them flash.
